About Us

Animal Research Facility (ARF) for low level infectious diseases & non-infectious disease began operating under the Deputy Dean of Research and Postgraduates Studies, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UPM. The role of ARF is to provide rooms for research purposes involving laboratory animals such as rats, mice, birds, rabbits and other related animals.

Researchers interested in service provided by the ARF are welcome to request for a service quote from ARF. The facilities provided strictly adhere to good practices in biosafety. Contaminated waste disposal activities are carried out periodically and are in accordance with the existing ISO SOPs. Upon completion of a research activity, all rooms and equipment are inspected by ARF according to the set standards.
