Admission Requirements

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

i) DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY (WITH THESIS)

The applicant should possess:

• Master's degree by research in the field related to the PhD field applied for ;
• Master's degree by course in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 ;

ii) MASTER OF SCIENCE (WITH THESIS)

The applicant should possess:

• a Bachelor's degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or; 
• a Bachelor's Degree with a CGPA of 2.50 - 2.74 can be admitted subject to the approval of the Supervisor/Supervisory Committee of the student and 3 years of work experience or;
• a Bachelor's degree in a CGPA related field below 2.500 must have at least 5 years of experience in related field

iii) MASTER OF VETERINARY SCIENCE (WITH THESIS)

The applicant should possess:

• a Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or;
• a Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with CGPA 2.50 - 2.74 can be admitted subject to the approval of the Supervisor/Supervisory Committee of the student and 3 years of work experience
• a Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in a CGPA below 2.500 must have at least 5 years of experience in related fields.

iii) MASTER OF VETERINARY MEDICINE

The applicant should possess:

• a Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or;
• a Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with CGPA 2.50 - 2.74 can be admitted subject to the approval of the Supervisor/Supervisory Committee of the student and 3 years of work experience
• a Bachelor's degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in a CGPA below 2.500 must have at least 5 years of experience in related fields.
