The Veterinary Sports & Recreational Club (KSRV) was established in 1975, a year after the Faculty of Veterinary and Veterinary Medicine was established.

Establishment of KSRV inspired by Dr. M. K. Vidyadaran who is also the first Chairman of KSRV.
