Serdang, August 23 – The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FPV) welcomed 13 academic staff members from Hasanuddin University, Indonesia. The purpose of this delegation's visit was to establish collaborations in veterinary research and education.
Their visit began with a brief overview of the history and courses offered at FPV. This was followed by a tour of the Anatomy Museum, where they had the opportunity to view the various specimens housed there.
The academic staff also had the chance to visit units within the Veterinary Hospital (UVH) and meet with hospital staff to exchange views on the facilities and expertise available at UVH.
As a result of this visit, UPM and Hasanuddin University, Indonesia, aim to develop a close collaboration, particularly in the areas of undergraduate exchange and joint research.
