SERDANG, 14 January – The Universiti Veterinary Hospital (UVH), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FPV), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has received a contribution of animal welfare-related products from Ceva Animal Health Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. during a contribution handover ceremony held at the UVH Meeting Room. The ceremony was organised as a symbolic handover and as a gesture of appreciation for the industry’s continued support towards UVH, particularly in strengthening animal welfare-based treatment practices.
The contribution comprises Feliway aromatherapy products and supporting equipment for cat examination and treatment procedures, with an estimated total value of RM10,000.00.
The ceremony was attended by the UVH management, represented by Dr. Nor-Alimah Rahman, UVH Operations and Technical Manager, together with representatives from Ceva Animal Health Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. The presence of both institutional and industry representatives reflects a shared commitment to supporting the development of sustainable and progressive veterinary services.
Dr. Nor-Alimah Rahman expressed her appreciation to Ceva Animal Health Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. for their concern and commitment in supporting animal welfare initiatives. Such support is viewed as a catalyst for UVH’s continued commitment to delivering quality veterinary examination and treatment services that remain relevant to current needs, while also supporting teaching, learning and research activities at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UPM.
