Serdang, May 24 – The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia, through the Office of the Deputy Dean (Academic & HEP) and the Veterinary Recreational Sports Club (KSRV), in collaboration with the Veterinary Medicine Student Association (VETERNAK), has conducted the CERIATHON 2024 program. This annual event is part of the Faculty's efforts to maintain cleanliness and vibrancy around the Faculty area. The program also aims to foster a sense of pride in the Faculty and build camaraderie among staff and students, as well as promote cooperation between staff and students.
The program began with an aerobics session for warm-up, followed by a communal effort to clean the Faculty area, including the University Veterinary Hospital, carried out jointly by staff and students.
This year, the Faculty’s students successfully created a mural featuring six (6) protected animal species under the Wildlife Conservation Act 2010. The program was officially launched by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Goh Yong Meng.
