Serdang, July 25 – The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Universiti Putra Malaysia, through the Office of the Deputy Dean (Academic and Student Affairs), organized the FFM Best Student Project Seminar 2024. This annual event by the Faculty aims to identify the recipient of the FFM Award among the final-year students of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program.

A total of six (6) finalists for the FFM Undergraduate Award presented the results of their final-year scientific projects. The finalists were Houris Adlina Bt Hussaini Amir, Chong Xin Hui, Justin Tay Hong Chuan, Karen Ooi Feng Shinn, Muhammad Farhan Bin Zainuddin, and Sathishwaran A/L Magis Paran. They were evaluated by a panel of four (4) judges: Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Omar (Head of the Panel), Associate Prof. Dr. Lokman Hakim Idris, Associate Prof. Dr. Annas Salleh, and Dr. Tan Jin Yu (representative from FFM Berhad).
Karen Ooi Feng Shinn was named the winner of the FFM Award 2024 and received a cash prize of RM1,500.00, which will be presented during the Faculty’s 2024 Award Presentation Ceremony. All finalists received a consolation prize of RM200.00 each.
