The research ranges from applied problems in animal feeding to fundamental scientific questions of animal growth, production, and health. The research program focuses on impact of nutrition on health, immunity, digestive/metabolic disorders, reproductive performance, bacterial and parasitic diseases, organic toxins and stress nutrition, and feeding management of sick animals. Other research areas include feed evaluation, processing, and utilisation in efficient feeding systems and determination of nutrient requirements.
