The two-day workshop was held from 26 to 27 January 2026 at the Dewan Seminar, Faculty of Engineering, UPM. |

The workshop aimed to review and refine UVH’s management manuals and procedures to ensure alignment with current operational requirements and actual practices implemented at the UVH. This initiative is essential to ensure that all work orders and procedures are clearly documented, well structured, and practically implemented, thereby supporting a more systematic and effective delivery of veterinary services. |

A total of 27 UVH staff members participated in the workshop, comprising personnel from the management and professional groups as well as the support staff group. Participants were divided into several discussion groups focusing on the UVH manual and key hospital management procedures, including case reception and registration, case examination and management, diagnostics and pharmacy, ward admission, and payment processes. |

Throughout the workshop, participants took part in briefing sessions, focused group discussions, presentations of findings, and summary sessions. This collaborative approach allowed proposed improvements to be examined comprehensively and aligned with the hospital’s actual operational needs. |

Through the organisation of the workshop, UVH continues to demonstrate its commitment to ensuring hospital management is carried out in a consistent, structured, and well-documented manner. This effort is expected to enhance understanding, compliance, and shared ownership among UVH staff, while supporting the quality of veterinary services provided to clients and the wider community. |
