COMMERCIALISATION AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF RESEARCH PRODUCT

MyVAC UPM93 Infectious Bursal Disease Vaccine - Commercialised in 2005 (Livestock Asia 2005)

MyVac UPM93 infectious bursal disease vaccine for chickens. The vaccine was officially launched for commercialisation by the Hon. Minister of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry, Malaysia, YB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Mohd Yassin in conjunction with the Livestock Asia 2005 on 27 September 2005. The product is now at Malaysia, Vietnam and Myanmar markets with total sale value of about RM 3.0 million. The vaccine is in the final state of registration in Indonesia, and expected to be in Indonesian market in 2016. The vaccine is also in the process of registration in Egypt, India, Bangladesh, Philippines and Thailand.

MyHatch UPM93 Infectious Bursal Disease Vaccine - Commercialised in 2015 (Livestock Asia 2015)

MyHatch UPM93 infectious bursal disease vaccine for chickens. The vaccine was officially launched for commercialisation by the Hon. Minister of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry, Malaysia, YB Dato' Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek in conjunction with the Livestock Asia 2015 on 22 September 2015. The virus seed of this vaccine is unique and novel to allow the vaccine successfully and effectively vaccinated to day old chick through subcutaneous injection at hatchery. Hatchery vaccination could assure a good start of chicken health and performance and will open the door to a real control and prevention of chicken diseases. It guarantees every chick received protection at the earliest age. MyHatch UPM93 IBD vaccine is able to induce high active immunity and provide full protection of the chicken against vvIBDV field challenged.
