Animal Production and Research Center for Tropical Diseases (CENTRAS) was established in 1983 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science. CENTRAS objective is to become a center of excellence responsible for providing services to the community by developing expertise in animal production and tropical diseases.
CENTRAS coordinates activities of continuing professional development in tropical animal production and disease studies. The main activities include seminars, workshops and short courses.
Implementation was carried out with the objective function as a coordinating body within the faculty conducting continuing education programs such as seminars, workshops, and short courses for the advancement of learning and research. CENTRAS also play a role as an intermediary for the advancement of learning and research with local and international agencies
