Serdang, August 21st 2023 – Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UPM in collaboration with BlueSAO® Co. Ltd and LK Vetortho Enterprise, successfully held the Advance Update in Veterinary Orthopedic Surgery Workshop on August 16th-18th 2023. A total of 52 participants attended the workshop. The topics discussed were surgery on the toy breed dogs, advanced updates in patella luxations, tibial plateau leveling osteotomy, and total hip replacement.

Dr. Rozanaliza Radzi, Senior Lecturer, FPV, as program director mentioned that the program's main objective was to enlighten participants on current advancements in veterinary orthopedic surgeries. With guidance from Dr. Jan Hnizdo, Head Surgeon, Prague Animal Clinic, this workshop aims to imbue participants with up-to-date orthopedic surgery techniques.

We would also like to thank the esteemed participants for their cooperation and enthusiasm. May this workshop be a stepping stone in producing more well-versed veterinarians in orthopedic surgery to provide our patients with the best procedures and quality of life.
