Assalamualaikum dan Salam Sejahtera,
End of December 2019 there were increasing cases of ILI and SARI whereas on January 4, 2020 KPK Press Statement, MOH stated that there was an increase in ILI cases especially among children under five (5) years old.
In this regard, the University Health Center (PKU) has begun to carry out detailed monitoring of the arrival of patients with the above symptoms since the case was reported. Customers' attendance statistics for PKU were found to be increasing based on the symptoms of ILI. However, so far no critical cases have been treated and referred by the PKU.
The PKU has also activated triage counters to identify at-risk clients and has provided special consultation rooms to treat patients at risk of reducing infections to other clients. PKU Medical Officers have also been asked to be more cautious in providing treatment to children and to ensure compliance with the established Clinical Practice Guideline.
